John Edward HARDY (my great grandfather) b. 1832 in Chase City, VA d.
abt. 1872
m. Martha Eugenia OLIVER on 18 Feb. 1858. She was born 9 Sep 1839.
Parents: Robert Hardy b. 1810 & Mary Marable
Parents: Miles Hardy & Hannah Pettus Wilson

They had three children but died when my grandfather was young. He was
raised by his Mother's
brother, ?James Oliver who was a physician.

Children: Sallie Hardy b. abt. 1860 m. Warnick - had one child: Fred
Warnick moved to Penn.
Julia Early Hardy m. ? Boileau buried in Farmville Cemetery
James Robert Hardy (my grandfather) b. 23 Mar 1868 d. 24 Feb 1967
buried in Farmville Cemetery (born in Mecklenburg Co)
married (1) Mary Ella Crenshaw 28 Nov 1895 in Mecklenburg Co
(2) Ethel Kathleen Yeatts
