Yes, I also watched this program. I had seen it once earlier this year but
it did not dawn on me the Hardy interest until reseeing it this week.

It - the house and land - is called Hardy Platation. The Hgtv show # is
108.

It was the home of William F Hardy with original house dated at 1804 and
addition dated at 1825. This family had 3 sons that erved in the Civil War
with only one surviving during that period of time. It is located in
Newberry Co. SC.

The current ower is a retired college professor. He has accumalated a lot
of documentation in redoing the house and has incorporated this into a bk
entitled "Our Father's Fields". This may be a historical fiction based on
the culture of the time rather than a factual family history! His name is
James Kibler.

I do not know if there is any further data on the show "If walls could Talk"
at there web site of hgtv.com or not. I have test only web access and My
one attempt to use this web sit in the past was very limited because of all
the graphics, bells, whistles, etc.

Do not write and ask me anything else. These were the notes that I took and
I did not tape it.
