I descend from WILLIAM AUSTIN HARDY, Capt. b. June 12, 1789 in Bedford County, Va., and died Sept. 17, 1878 in Bedford County, Va. who married (3) Jane Hord Watts 1818 in Bedford County, VA. Through their daughter Frances Susan Jane Hardy, b. Oct. 28, 1827 in Bedford County, Va., d. June 22, 1863 in Bedford County, Va. She married Thomas Newell Lee Jan. 12, 1848 in Bedford County, Va. Through their daughter Jane Calpernia Lee, b. Nov. 19, 1848 in Shenandoah County, Va., d. April 14, 1938 in Bedford County, Va. She married Benjamin Richard Markham Nov. 05, 1868 in Bedford County, Va. , who was my Great Grandfather. I am in the process of extending my Hardy Line, and need Help from this point forward to the present. I remember as a boy hearing my father call Dr. Glenn Hardy M.D., of Bedford, Virginia, his cousin, so I know that Dr. Hardy is in my Hardy Family Line. I would appreciate any help that I can get from the list along these lines, and am willing to share any f!
amily information that I have.
