Subject: [HART-L] Fayette County KY Hart Families

The first Francis A. Hart is my line...my question is if anyone knows
any of the other Hart families in Fayette County KY mentioned
below...in the 1810 to 1850 time ranges...I'm looking for Francis A.
Hart's parents in the Fayette County KY area...

Of course it is possible they came from another state to KY prior to
1818....I'm just wondering also if anyone knows about the migration
patterns during the early 1800s into the KY area as well....

Hart research

1850 census in Jackson County, Blue Township, MO p. 306; LDS #
443,610 - (this is my earliest known Hart)
Francis A. Hart - 32 - KY
Eliz - 29 - Ind
Robert M (Mathias) - 5 - m - KY
Zerilda - 4 - f - KY
Infant - 1 - m - MO

This indicates that Francis A. Hart was born in KY and if 32 years
old in 1850 was probably born about 1818 somewhere in KY. Sometime
prior to 1860 Francis A. Hart moved to Anderson County, Greely
Township, KS and is on the 1860 census for that year and place on
page 044.

Robert M. Hart in his Civil War penison records states his father
died after 1860, that his mother's name was Elizabeth, funeral home
records show her as Elizabeth Parker and that she died in 1860 or
1868. Robert M. Hart also states he was born Dec 6, 1843, at
Lexinton, KY in another place he says 1844, died October 28, 1930, in
Joplin MO. He married Mary P. Johnson July 10, 1863 at Independence,
Jackson County, MO. His first and only marriage.

This was seem to indicate that Francis lived in Fayette County KY in
at least 1845 til 1850. However, he must have moved prior to the
census being taken since he is on the 1850 Census in MO.

The next earlier census is 1840 and there is no Francis A. Hart
listed in Fayette County KY. On the 1840 Census for Fayette County
or Lexington City Census are the following people:

Fayette County 1840 census:
Edwin Har
John H. Hart
Christopher I or L Hart

City of Lexington 1840 census:
John Hart
Joel T. Hart
John Hart
Minor Hart

1830 Fayette County KY census:
Minor Hart
Christopher Hart
Edwin Hart
John Hart
Elenor Hart - City of Lexington
Susanna Hart - City of Lexington

On the 1820 Fayette County KY census:
Susannah Hart
Minor Hart

If Francis were born in KY in 1818 then his parents should be on the
1820 or so census. Minor Hart then becomes a suspect and he shows up
on the 1820 and 1830 and 1840 census records for Fayette County KY

On the 1810 Fayette County KY census:
Nathanial G.S. Hart - City of Lexington
Susanna Hart - City of Lexington
John Hart
Michael Hart
