MY Harveys came from Ireland to Hudson, NY in the (I believe) 1840s. They never owned slaves. Had that been me, I would have told that rude person in no uncertain terms, "Excuse me -- but I did not bring anyone anyplace as slaves and, furthermore, I will not have the blame put on ME for it. Back off!"

As for being humiliated, HE should have been humiliated for being so ignorant. Some people need to stop living in the past.
