Welcome:

Welcome to our newest members! Our Mailing list has
grown a bit in the past 6 months, and I would like to
suggest that IN THE NEAR FUTURE we have a bit of a
roll call. I will post the beginning date of the roll
call to the list IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Why do we call a Roll?
The only way the list will help you with your research
is if you let other subscribers know who you are
looking for. Some of us have been on this list for
several years, and we should periodically post our
Harvey interests. As list Administrator, I
periodically call for the roll, so that (hopefully)
everyone will post the names of their Harvey
Ancestors. This way, everyone, even the newest
members, will have a chance make connections with
others on the list researching the same lineages.

List Subscription/Unsubscription:
But, before we do that, let me offer some instructions
for those of you who currently are subscribers of
Harvey-L(ist)mode, versus Harvey-D(igest) mode. In
List mode, you get an individual email for each
message posted to the list. In Digest mode, you get a
compilation of several messages in one email.

When we have a roll call, it tends to generate LOTS of
posts.So, if you would prefer not to get LOTS of
individual emails, then, before I call for the roll,
you may want to switch your subscription to
Harvey-D(igest) so that you get more posts in less
emails.

How do I switch from Harvey-L to Harvey-D?

In order to change from Harvey-L to Harvey-D you must
first UNsubscribe from Harvey-L by sending an email to
. The email should have
UNSUBSCRIBE typed in as the message and NOTHING else.
Then you can subscribe to Harvey-D by sending an email
to . The email should
have SUBSCRIBE typed in as the message and NOTHING
else.

After the roll call has run it's course, if you wish
to change your subscription BACK to Harvey-L,
unsubscribe from Harvey-D and Subscribe to Harvey-L.

Again, I will post the beginning date of the roll
call to the list IN THE NEAR FUTURE. Welcome to our
new members!
