Susan,
I, too, am researching Haslams. James Haslam was born 1781 in Lancashire (probably Manchester). His wife was Ellen. I have the following children:
James Haslam, christened 25 Sep 1808 Manchester Cathedral.
Francis " " " " " "
William " " 7 Oct 1810 " "
Samuel " " 11 Nov 1810 " "
Abraham " " 9 Jan 1814 " "
Margaret " " 25 Aug 1816 " "
George " " 11 Apr 1819 " "
Joseph " " 11 Mar 1821 " "
Jackson " " 15 Jul 1827 " "
I would like to correspond with anyone with Haslems in Manchester as there are many Haslams, and I am having difficulty sorting out who is related to James.
