Hello Harry,
I saw your note below as you posted it on the Havens page. My wife's line
comes out of Sandisfield as well, her line is through Brazilla Havens. He
was there at the time of your Roxsa, but I have not heard of her nor know
any other Havens from there. We have surmised that Brazilla was out of
Long Island, NY or Rhode Island, both places populated with related Havens.
We believe he is the grandson of Constant and Abigail Havens, perhaps
leaving the family behind as well as dropping his first name which may have
well been Constant or Charles, perhaps Lewis, all later given family names.
Brazilla was supposed to have been born about 1770 and was married to Anna
Watson in 1808.
This line eventually leaves to NY state then on to Lapeer County, MI. Do
you have any earlier data on Berkshire County, MA for Havens or Fox, another
related name.
Yours,
Dan and Becky Fetters
Hope, MI

Is this possibly the same family?

(Strickland) Haven, whose husband Peter died in 1809. J. Nelson is on page
