Dear List Members,
My husband is Hawaiian-Chinese, I am German. And we live in Texas. It is
extremely hard to get information here. If it would not be for some
wonderful friends I made through the List and finding things on folks web
pages.......how would we know about our daughters heritage?
After reading Winona's e-mail I realized I may never be able to find out
about one of our ancestors. Family Legend has it that he came from Royalty.
All we know is his name was IOELA and his ancestors came from Molokai. I was
not aware that this may cause us a problem in our research.

All said, I hope that we can continue sharing our family history.
