William, I had sent something to you earlier about an Agnes Rogers who married a Joseph DeMonte.

I had the obituary for Agnes DeMonte and in it there was mention she was the sister of Harold and Raymond Rogers. I therefore assumed her maiden name was Rogers. However, today in the mail I received a copy of the morturary records with a copy of Agnes' death certificate.

It states that Agnes was born on March 30, 1896 in Honolulu, Hi. Her father's name was Jacinto Rocha and her mother was Perpetua Faria both born in Portugal.

I am wondering if the name Rocha was changed to Rogers or if her mother had remarried and had two other sons by a second marriage. One more puzzle now for me. Anyhow, just wanted to let you know this new information as you had put out query on a Rogers family. Aloha, Audrey Dobson Sallas in Seattle, WA
