Thank you for those giving info on where to get birth
certificates in Hawaii. I have done this.

The info I rec'd from a now dead Aunt has names of
newspapers next to the names of the realtives. Two of
the newspaper names, Star Bulletin and Advertiser, I
found on a Hawaii web site and have written for info
on the obituaries of my relatives. The 3rd
newspaper(?) name I couldn't find on the web
site..."The Friend" this is for a death in 1889 Sept
and next to that entry it says p76 c3. Does anyone
know if this is an Hawaiian newspaper or book or ??
