Aloha! Recently there was an inquiry about John Meirs
HORNER... I had a chance to do a newspaper lookup on Mr.
Horner, and found that he died at home in Kukaiau. There is quite
a long article about him in the May 16, 1907 Advertiser, with lots of
biographical information, some of it in Horner's own words, and also
some information about the whereabouts and occupations of his
family members.

I have scanned the newspaper article, and am willing to share it
with any interested parties. It's a long article, so there are 9 jpegs.

Unfortunately, the article says nothing about where J M Horner was
interred. This isn't surprising, really, seeing as services would be
held on the Big Island, and the Advertiser was published in
Honolulu.
