Samuel md 7 Apr 1806 ?Logan County KY, Margaret "Peggy",HUGHES, b. ca
1790
d. Jan 1871, Polk Co. MO. Margaret dau of James & Cynthia WILLIAMS,
HUGHES (who were md. 1786 in Nelson Co. KY)
Samuel, Peggy and some of their children moved from Logan Co. KY to Polk
Co. MO ca. 1855.
Children are: Sarah b. 1807m. EIDSON; William b. 1809; Elizabeth b. 1811,
m. STURDEVANTt; Cynthia m. BOREN; Elisha b. 1815; George, b. 1820; John
b. ca 1822; Willis b. 1824; Daniel b. 1829; Nancy b. 1820 m. RAGAN, m.
2, JENNINGS; Bailey b. 1832; Mary never md.; Kinzie, b. 1838.
William, John and James are believed to have lived in Bond, Clinton and
Montgomery Cos. IL. Bailey was in IL Cavalry in Civil War. Unsure where
Elisha was bef. lvg. in Newton & Jasper Cos. MO
