I have always heard that a coat of arms was given to a specific
individual and his descendants. I have a coat of arms of John HEYDON, of
Hertfordshire, impaling that of his first wife, who m. Joan GERRARD, described
in Clutterbuck (His. of Hertfordshire). Wonder if Ed HAYDEN, our owner, has any
room to place a copy of this on his website?? I could send a scanned copy by
.jpg; .bmp or .pdf.
Also have a discription of a HEYDON/DRURY coat of arms. I could only
quote from a copy. I have no knowledge of Heraldry.
