Hi Susan...Thats him alright, well done!!!! I have already found his
descendants, met them, been to his 10,000 acre land block which was
subdivided for returned servicement after World war II. One of my newly
found second cousins in Australia is busy family history digging, she will
probably write up his biography one day,he had a fascinating life. I am
busy now on 2 generations further back, and beyond. Hedges living in the
villages of Westerleigh and Downend, near Bristol, in the 1700s.
Do you have a fax address? I have printed out a descendants chart from my
PAF and added bits of location details etc in, starting with Noah Hedges
born Westerleigh 1786/7, but cannot send it as attachment because my scanner
is not working. The Westerleigh church
records are difficult to decipher, as soon as our local LDS rooms reopen in
Feb. I am going to order the Bishop's transcripts, am determined to fill in
the missing links back to a will of Thomas H, 1725. (that was in the
Glos.Records Office I found it on internet)
PS The Noah H in Perth was actually a millionaire, he obviously managed his
properties to avoid death duties!
