Every year the Federation of Genealogy Societies joins with a state or
regional group to put on a conference which has speakers, exhibits, and
genealogy networking opportunities for everyone who attends. This year's
conference includes basic through advanced topics, including an ethnic
and religious track which features talks on church records, Native
American, Hispanic, Jewish, and African-American research.
The 2003 FGS/FSGS Conference "Countdown to Discovery: A World of Hidden
Treasures" will be held 3-6 September 2003 at the Renaissance Orlando
Resort at Sea World in Orlando, Florida. Hosted by the Florida State
Genealogical Society, this conference will offer over 175 lectures and
