David Socrates Henkel and his wife Rebecca Ellen Henkel(D.S.'s second cousin) were my great grandfather and grandmother. At Rebecca death D.S. remarried and David Seabury Henkel was the only child from that union.

I have a lot of information about David Socrates Henkel as i grew up in Waynesboro, VA where he practiced law, was a minister and a business man from around 1870 to 1910.My grandfather Tilden Octavius Henkel was D.S. And Rebecca 4th child, they had 10 in total.

If you would like to know more write me at ,com and I will download a document on the David's. David Seabury by the way practiced law in NYC for many years.
