Hi, my mother is a Henneberry that was raised on Devil's Island. Henneberrys were the first permanent inhabitants of Devil's Island; they were fishermen and living at the mouth of the harbour was closer to the fishing grounds. At the time that Mum was living there, the lightkeepers were Faulkners, but her cousin Ben was the last lightkeeper before automation of the light.
