Marsha, so am I. Joab had apparently lived very near his brother for many
years in Buncombe, NC. His brother Abishai Henslee moved to Calloway about
1831 (deposition). Since several of Joab's children were born in KY before
1840, it's probable that Joab was also was in Calloway in the 1830s. For
some reason, he's in Greene County, AR in 1840 (one of his daughters
Celia/Sarah was born there). In the next county to the west, Lawrence, was a
Hensley group, Enoch and his sons, with a man named Ephraim Hensley about
whom I have located very little. I think it just possible that Ephraim may
have been Joab's brother--but that's a wild surmise. Enoch and his sons
arrived in Lawrence about 1835. Not sure when Ephraim arrived, but he was
there in 1840. I'm trying to determine if Ephraim is my ancestor. Dee Dee
