There was also a John Asaph Hill born to a family in Texas: James C. Hill,
(whose father was John Hill b. VA,c1760), married Rebecca Marr Hill [no
relation].
Rebecca Marr Hill was the daughter of Asaph Hill & Elizabeth Marr, both b.

Look to the KENNAMER FAMILIES of Marshall, Jackson Counties, AL for
information on Asaph and Samuel Hill. Both these men are tied to that
family.
John Asaph Hill b abt 1815, parents were John HIll and
Susannah(Susan)Kennamer.This John Asaph Hill married Mary Killingsworth.
Samuel Hill b abt 1813 m Jemimah Kennamer.
While trying to find my correct HILL Family I did some work on this one in
error. My Thomas HILL m Rebecca Morton in 1838 Marshall Co.,AL. They had a
daughter named Eliza Jane Hill as did John Asap Hill and wife Mary
Killinsworth in Marshall Co.,AL.
I show that John Hil who married Susannah Kennamer was born abt 1772. Hope
this helps someone.
