Dear Bill Williams,

I told you I would do a look up on the wife of David B. Hill. He as
born in 1814 probably in Rutland, Jefferson Co., N.Y. His father was
John Hill of Vermont b. in 1780. He died October 11, 1870, and is buried
in Stephenson Co., Illinois. His mother's name was Mary and she was born
about 1784, in Connecticut. David's wife's given name was Elizabeth.
She was born about 1817, also in Connecticut. Unfortunately I do not
have either David's wife, or his mother's Family name or maiden name. I
know that David B. Hill is buried in Lena, Stephenson Co., Illinois, and
died at the age of 83, on May 3, 1898 in Belvedere, Nebraska. His wife
Elizabeth died in Harbine, Nebraska on January 12, 1901. I know they
had a son Eugene Orson Hill, b. 1847, and died August 17, 1923 in
Pasadena, Los Angeles Co., California. The latter's widow, died , also
in Pasadena, on or about March 25, 1931.

If this is not your family, I would appreciate hearing from any one in
the that does identify with this family.
