Does anyone have further info on other Hills who were connected in some way
to the first railroads?

I did a search with quotation marks. "Hill Family" and "Railroad" and got 475 returns.
Several of them are for the underground railroad but there are quite a few old time RR men
listed. There were lots of Hill's working on the RRs before Jim & Sam.
