Subject: William Hil b. 1689 m. Anne Jones in Maryland

I believe that my direct Hill ancestors link to William Hill and Anne
Jones Hill's son, John Hill b. 1710 VA, d. 1799 Amelia Co. VA. John's
son Joel Hill is said to have moved "at great distance", and this great
distance is to, I believe, Madison Co. Kentucky, where a Joel Hill lived
adjacent to my gggg grandfather, Abner Hill. I had long believed that
there was some connection between Joel Hill and Abner Hill because of
the fact that they lived so close to each other, but the crucial piece
to the puzzle came when I participated in the Hill DNA Project, which
shows that my DNA matches that of Hill researchers descended from
William Hill (son of William Hill and Anne Jones) and Susannah Smither.
I would very much like to see any information regarding William Hill's
parents as well as Anne Jones' parents.
