Roxie Marie HINKLE was the oldest child of George L HINKLE(1858-1907) and Nancy A BRATTON (1858-1907)

George L. HINKLE was the third child of Benjamin b 24 Dec 1827 and Nancy SELBY daughter of Middletown SELBY and Rachel.

Benjamin HINKLE,a Madison Twp Trustee, was son of Joseph HINKLE Jr and Elizabaeth DEBOLT

Joseph HINKLE Jr moved to Ohio from Lancaster Co. PA in 1807. His paents were Joseph Sr and Lydia Cook. Joseph Sr and Lydia's father Abel, were both killed and scalped by indians near Covalt's Station on the Little Miami River near Cincinnati.

The line goes on back to Rev Anthony Jacob Hinkle who came to this country in 1717 with the first wave of Palatines.
