HOBSON tidbits

I found a Christening of a Joseph HOBSON 27 July 1806, Place
Cathedral,
Manchester, Lancashire, England.
father James HOBSON and mother Betty HOBSON(maybe Jane T. HOBSON's
father & mother)

Also from the Vital British Isles Records I found
John HOBSON who married a Margery TURNER 30 June 1680.
Recorded in Sedgley, Stafford, England.
Just wondered if Margery TURNER was the reason for the Turner name in
the HOBSON name.

George Wilkinson married Ann HOBSON 19 Jan 1790.
Recorded in: Burton in Kendal, Westmorland, England

George HOBSON married Ellen Wilkinson 24 Dec. 1849
Recorded in: Netherfield Independent or Congregational, Thurlstone,
York, England.

Ralph HOBSON(father John HOBSON) married Alice Turner(father Samuel
Turner)
4 Feb 1852. Recorded in: St. Michael, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire
County,England.

Thomas James HOBSON age 26 years (father William HOBSON)
married Agnes Sarah Wilkinson age 21(father James Wilkinson)
12 Oct 1851 Recorded in: Saint Mary,Edge Hill, Lancashire, England.
========================
We know nothing else on these HOBSON tidbits.
Just thought I would put them on the HOBSON List.

If anyone is connected to our Jane Turner HOBSON or her father
Joseph Turner HOBSON we would like to hear from them.(the witness
James HOBSON
could be a brother to her or maybe an uncle to her for we really do
not know that part)

Helen & William Turner(a different Turner we believe then in the
HOBSON name)

New Smyrna Beach, Florida
