I am researching Johnny Belvin Hobson of Mississippi and I just received his death certificate. The info on it lists Jack Hobson and Rocksan Hamelton. I don't think the submitter of the information of the death certificate gave an accurate spelling of her name. But Johnny was jan 1, 1900 and died in Greenwood but is buried in Itta Bena, MS. My husbands grandmother is the daughter of Johnny. Her brother Earl submitted the death cert. info. She told me that he had many brothers and sisters because his dad had basically 2 sets of kids. The second with a lady named Bertie.
I believe we are talking about the same people.
