Ruth Hobson is the only Hobson I have in my file - I just haven't been able to figure out how she connects with Susan McPeake. I wonder if Ruth was the first wife of Mathew McPeak(e), but haven't found marriage records indicating he married Susan. I know that Susan was his widow and married my ggg-grandfather (Alfred Mitchell). Children were Ruthy Jane and Mary McPeake.

Boliver is in SW MO and Jefferson/Washington Counties are in SE MO, but many of the early families did move west.
