Hi Wayne and List!

As I explained my line starts at Frances HOBSON of Ireland who was martyred
for his Quaker faith. His son Frances II stayed in Ireland, but his Grandson
Frances III immigrated to the new world and settled in York Co., PA. His
son, Joseph was born in Ireland, and eventually settled in Jefferson Co.,
OH. His son was John, b PA d Jefferson Co., OH. John's son was Stephen who
was born in Jefferson Co., OH, and died in Wesley Twp., Washington Co.,
Ohio. He married Lydia WATT who's grandfather (my 5X g-grandfather) fought
in the American Revolutionary War. His son was JohnWatt b Jefferson Co., OH,
d. Blackhawk Co., IA. He married 1st Mary Ann Heald who died in 1871. In
1874 He then married her sister, Lucina. John and Mary Ann had a son
Linneaus Hobson, who's youngest daughter was Florence HOBSON m. Robert
PLUMSTEAD their son is my father.

This family was Quaker until my g-grandfather was disowned because of
"married contrary to disciple:" married another Friend, but in a civil
ceremony (usually resulting in disownment); sometimes used interchangeably
with "married out of society" or "married out of unity". They traveled
across country through the midwest and ended up in California.

Now on a personal note. Do you use "EchoLink"? I am hoping to have cable
internet soon and would love to have a QSO.
