Here is another Hodge family who lived in Johnson County - not related to the
recent posting - maybe it will help someone. I have more information.

William Northern Hodge, b. 1811 Livingston Co. Ky.; m/1 Elizaabeth Sarah
Phillips Livingston Co. 1829; she d. 1851); moved to Texas 1850s where m/2
L:ouisa Richardson 1855 Freestone Co. Texas. Lived in Jefferson, Texas,
mid 1850s where served as mayor; moved to Johnson Co. Texas where was
mayor of Cleburne (county seat); d. 1896, bur. Cleburne. Issue by 1st
marriage:

1. Mary Catherine Hodge, b. 1829 Liv. Co. Ky; m. 1849 Francis Marion
Martin (Lt. Gov. State of Texas 1882-84)
2. Charles Hodge (killed in accident before move to Texas)

Issue by 2nd marriage:

1. William G. Hodge b. 1857 Navarro Co. Tex.; d. 1906 Johnson Co. Tex; bur
Cleburne; m. 1906 Johnson Co. Sarah H. DONOHOO.

2..Blount Lewis (Spunce) Hodge b. 1859 Jefferson, Texas; d. 1932,
Houston, Tex; bur. Cleburne, Johnson Co. Tex; m/1 1880 Johnson
Co. Cressie CRINER; m/2 1891, Hill Co Tex Mary T. DARDEN..

3,. Robert Henry Hodge b. 1861 Jefferson, Texas; d. ca 1931 Houston,
Tex. where bur. Was well known professional actor.

One Darien HODGE b. 1869 Liv. Co. Ky.; d 1944 Johnson Co. Texas; m. 1898 Ella
Werd Denman. Several children: Erna Werd, Josh Berry, Thelma Warren, Frankie
Pearl, Johnnie Merle - some of whom lived Johnson Co,
Smith Co and Henderson Co. Texas.
