Searching for additional data on James Hodges, b. abt 1726 in Va. mar.
Martha or Elizabeth Echols abt 1752. d. 1787 in Newberry, SC
They had nine children including Rebecca, Joseph, Patsy, Sarah, Christina,
James, jr., & Jesse.

Jesse was b. 2-11-1754 in VA. mar. Elizabeth Collins 10-28-1775 in VA. They
had 12 children: James Calvin, William Cayson, Jesse B., Josiah B. Jeremiah,
Marcus, Frances, Tabitha, Elisha, Elijah, Thomas Collins, and Elizabeth.
One or more of the children was born in TN. Both Jesse & Elizabeth died in
TN.
