The Wm. Brownell Hodges that you mentioned in the Hodges mailing list is the
son of Preston Hodges & Lydia Cole, b. 17 Apr 1821 Mansfield, MA; died 25
Oct 1844 NYC; unmarried. He died at 3 Beekman Street of consumption. and
was removed to Green-Wood on 15 Apr 1845.
