am i correct to understand that we are all related despite the spelling
variations? if that's the case here's a brief summary for your records:
We live in Crofton, BC, Canada.
I have 3 sisters, Lisa 28 (married to jamie greenwood), Kym 25, & Nicole
17. My parents are Elaine Edwards & James Lawrence Hodgess. My father
passed on 2 yrs ago from cancer. His dream was to trace the family
history as he knew little about it. He was separated from his parents
from very young along w/ his siblings. He had a twin sister Ethel Mary,
2 brothers - Richard Thomas (born Oct. 19/48 in Victoria, BC; lives i
Duncan, BC) & David Stanley (born Nov. 7/49 in Calgary, AB; lives in
Edmonton, AB). My grandparents names were Osborne Herald Hodgess (born
in Calgary, AB, Canada Aug. 1924 or 28 died 1985 or 1986) & Rosanna
(ODonnel? McDonald? little is known about her). My grandfather's
siblings were William Butler (oldest 1/2 brother lives in Calif.), &
Dorothy (who died in England in '98/'99). He had an uncle Thomas
(Calif.).
I hope this helps w/ the tree, maybe you could help me fill in some
more? Like when did we migrate to Canada?
