Hi, Ardie.
I finally found your Emma, which is an extremely common name among early
Hoisingtons, listed as "Emily" Hoisington. I haven't much information on
her except for her ancestry and possible birthplace (Panton VT or Mariah
NY). She was the daughter of James Hoisington (2) (b. 2 Jan 1757
Farmington, Hartford, CT) and Avis Loveland (no vitals yet). She had at
least 5 brothers and sisters: Nancy, Erastus, Marcus, Clarissa, and
Laura. Emily was John's second wife; her older sister Nancy was his first.
I have only been searching for Hoisingtons for 2 years, but have found more
than 5800 of them and am finding new information every day. I also host a
mailing list for Hoisington descendants if you are interested.
If you have more information on John Lobdell or their children, I would be
very interested in seeing it.
