Hi, Darcy and all.
1) I have a transcript of the Hoisington/Munger bible which gives the name
of Sarah E.'s second husband as Isaac Buxton. It says only that they were
married in OH and that they had a daughter, Sarah, who married a Mr.
Reynolds.
2) I have Sarah Knapp Hoisington's birthplace as Oblong NY (also from the
Hoisington/Munger bible). Do you have a more primary source?
3) I just checked the Hoisington List archives and found that we REALLY
need to make our subject lines descriptive if you want to retrieve a
particular posting or are searching for a "general" subject. I went looking
just to see if the archives had been posted and, in particular, which of
the postings contained the individuals listed in Harry Hoisington's
"Hoisingtons in America". As there are now more than 300 postings
archived, it would take a loooong time to look at each one!
BTW, you can access the archives at

keyword. I will try and find out if there's a way to download all
messages.
If not, I have all past messages (and my source data) archived on my zip
disks and will do lookups if you can't find the one you want.
4) If any of you are on the HOISINGTON-D list and do not get one every
day, check with me at <>. As the "reply to" option hasn't
been implemented, I guess I'm a little concerned that the other changes I
made to the list management haven't been, either.
