Hi, All.

I know it's been a long time in coming, but the Hoisington Family Web Page
is now a reality, if a somewhat sketchy one. It can be found at
http://www.genweb.net/~hoisington/index.htm .

This is an ambitious project, will take a long time to get all the current
info up, and I could deinitely use some help. As you will see, I have
created a page called "The First Five Generations". On it, I have placed a
descendancy chart which includes every known (to me) person in the first 5
generations of the Hoisington Family in North America. I would like to
have a linked person sheet for each of these individuals with a descendancy
chart for each individual in the 5th generation.

Right now, I have only examples of the type of information I would
eventually like to exist. As I put up what I have, I will announce it to
the group. What I would like you to do is to take a look at the
information, and let me know if you have additional or conflicting
information and what your documentation is.

Pictures would also be a definite plus. If you do not have a scanner and
can make copies of your pictures, I have a PaperPort scanner that is
wonderful!

If you would like to help to create person report pages or descendancy
chart pages, bless you! I have a template page that you could
cut-and-paste information into.

I have also put up a Researchers List. I only have 4th generation
descendancy info for some of you. If you are not listed and would like to
be, I need to hear from you. If you have a Hoisington-related web site and
want a link from the page, let me know. If you do not want your e-mail
address listed, let me know also.

Finally, let me know what you think needs to be changed, added, or deleted
to the site. Ideas and constructive criticism are definitely welcomed.
The information that I have, in large part, has come from the members of
this list and the page belongs to all of us. So let me hear from you.
