Notes:
1. For: Thomas Mershe; He was not only Rector of Horsington, but
also Prebendary of Henstridge and Vicar of Cheddar. He was also witness
to Bishop Beckington's Will in 1464. At his death he left to New
College, Oxford, three salts of silver gilt - 68 ozs; to Winchester
College a silver cup of 33 ozs. To the Fraternity of the Blessed Virgin
Mary in Horsington he left 56s. 8d. with a pair of vestments of brode
Alisaunder (striped Alexandrian silk) and to the Gild of Blessed Virgin
Mary a pair of vestments of white teuke embroidered, and 20/-d to buy
cows.

2. For: Richard Tines; It was during his incumbency that the Church
Registers begun.

3. For: Thomas Wickham; The first of the Wickham Rectors who served
for 211 years.

4. For: Henry Edwards; He collapsed as he was about to hold the
Armistice Day service at the War Memorial.

Ok, now I have a couple of questions cousins. First what does the M. A.
mean? And the LL.B. ANd the B. A. ??? Anyone know or have any idea
on this one? Please let me know. The Bells will follow soon.

Tina
