Harriette: I would love to add to the collection of scanned photos. My
sister-in-law has a scanner... would it be as easy to scan here and then
send the disk to you? I don't know about scanners (yet -- taking course
starting in November)... what do I need to do to be sure the disk and
contents are compatible with yours?

To All: also, VERY DELAYED (:( finally found the article "New York
Rangers in the Hampshire Grants 1776-1777 with the sidebar "In 1776, as
the movement in the Hampshire Grants to declare independence from New
York gained momentum, Joab Hoisington had little trouble enlisting
ranger companies to serve under New York authority" (in "Vermont
History" The Proceedings of the Vermont Historical Society. Fall 1983,
Vol. 51, no.4). I can send copies to anyone who is interested, or I can
transcribe the paper to the list (9-1/2 pages long but I type fast) and
do installments like the Ben and Melissa Hoisington Wells tome.

What is the consensus.. to type or not to type?
