Subject: [HOISINGTON-L] A bit late...

Hi list!
I originally sent this message last December, with the full intention of
following up on all queries about it, but.... it was Christmastime, and I got
a bit sidetracked. Since there are new people on the list, I figured it would
be a good time to re-post.
My gg-gramma, Emma Jane (Clough) Newcomb a/k/a "Mimmie", was an amateur
astrolger. I have inherited Mimmie's papers, and it seems she did "forecasts"
for family members. Out of about 100 names in Mimmie's files (dating from
around the turn of the century, up until the 1920s), I have found 5
HOISINGTONs:
Alice K. HOISINGTON b. 11 Aug 1869 p.m. Married 4 Oct 1893 died 20 Nov
1917 @ 8:30 p.m.
Charles HOISINGTON b. 4 Sep 1856 p.m.
William HOISINGTON b. 30 Dec 1859
Shubel HOISINGTON b. 13 Sep 1859 p.m. died 6 Nov 1915 a.m.
Clarence HOISINGTON b. 24 Nov 1854 d. 24 Nov 1933 @ 11:45 p.m.
I'm debating whether I should post the other names on this list... What do you
think, Harriett? Mimmie spent the first part of her life around the Lowell, MA
area, and from about 1900 until her death in 1935, she lived in Wellfleet, MA
(On Cape Cod). So, there is a large portion of Cape names, as well as Mimmie's
relatives in the NH/VT area. (Mimmie's paternal grandmother was Caira
HOISINGTON)
Take care!
