My name is Stephen Lowell Parker and we live in Huntsville, Alabama. I was
born November 2, 1941 in Springfield, Vermont (we lived in Proctorsville).I
am married to the former Barbara Kaye Windle of Flint, Michigan (9/19/1964).
We migrated there in 1950. I'm an Electrical Engineer and a graduate of the
University of Michigan (Go Blue). Oops sorry Ohio State family.

We have one son Rodney Stephen Parker born 9/25/1969 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
He is married to the former Melynda Leigh Terney of Greenville, Mississippi
(8/15/1992). They are both Mississippi State graduates, he is a lawyer she
works in a bank. They have one son Philip Stephen Parker born 9/17/1998 in
Birmingham, Alabama.

My Father is Lowell Henry Parker born 5/3/1905 in Proctorsville, Vermont.
He married the former Marion Sarah Morgan of Proctorsville on 6/9/1928. He
is the son of Louis Eugene Hoisington and Lena Esther Parker. He legally
changed his name to Parker in 1950. My name has always been Parker. I
never knew about the Hoisington connection, until I started into this
genealogy stuff. He was born out of wedlock, but I have
his birth certificate authenticating the paternity, plus the agreement of
Louis with other relatives that he was indeed the father.

The rest of our Hoisington line goes as follows :

Lewis Orange Hoisington m Julia
Frances Caswell
Orange (Dick) Hoisington m Cyrena
Barber
Aaron Hoisington m Hannah Wilson
Ebenezer Hoisington m Elizabeth Miller
John Horsington m Elizabeth Shailor
John Horsington m Mary Stanborough

It is believed that Mary was not the mother of John II. Do you all agree,
and anyone have an idea who was his mother? A couple of weeks ago I put the
ancestors of Elizabeth Miller and Elizabeth Shailor in the list. If you
missed it, go back and look it over. Allan immediately got busy on the
Shailor line branch of the Spencers and took it back into the 800s. That's
a common link for all of us. Now let's see if we can connect it to Lady Di.

It's very interesting learning about all of you and sharing information. We
need to get organized and have some regional reunions some time. Keep that
Email coming.
