Hiya Steve,

I've heard that the SPENCER line you speak of is a hoax....someone just
"inserted" a ficitious generation. According to an online friend, who is a
SPENCER descendant, the lineage from Charlemagne is just wishful thinking. She
said that The Spencer Family Ass'n does not support the allegations of a Royal
lineage. I think this bears further research. I found a website that has a
list of Colonial immigrants who are of Royal descent-- I'll have to dig it up.
I'm pretty certain that SPENCER is NOT on the list though. Sorry :-(
