Hi, Group.
I guess I'm a little confused as to what it is that we're trying to do.
Bonnie mentions TWO projects in the following reply to my e-mail to her.
I'm not sure what the value to reproducing Harry's book in its original
form would be as we have come up with a LOT of new and corrected
information in the past two years and it has already been reproduced by
Higginson Books in its original form.
Please read both of the quoted e-mails below. In Bonnie's e-mail she asks
if I have completed transcribing Harry's book as a standalone. My answer
to that is a Yes and No.
1) I have input ALL of Harry's original manuscript AND the 1939 supplement.
It is not in Word format, but it can be produced as a Word report by my
database program.
2) Harry's info has been incorporated with my other lines, but can easily
be separated out by exporting John Horsington's descendants as a gedcom and
creating another database.
3) All entries from the original manuscript are cross-referenced to Harry's
numbering system.
4) Any changes I have made to it are referenced to footnotes, citing sources.
As I told Bonnie below, I do not want to put a damper on all the energy
this has created. I just want to have us use it in the most productive way
possible.
