Hi Harriette,
1. I believe the original "idea" was to retype/reproduce HH's book
EXACTLY as it was written by him for the many cousins who do not have a
copy of his book. This was suggested in order to save time, money,
paper and postage for Bonnie and so that we would have a permanent copy
to put on a CD of HH's book. This way all the cousins can see first
hand "His published" work without any changes in text, information,
footnotes etc.
2. The next step was to make annotations to his book, making updated
corrections, comments etc.
This was all to be reviewed or proofed for any errors typo's or changes
to his original work.
How hard would it be to change your information BACK to exactly the way
the "original" book was? to exclude any changes corrections etc. you
may have made? If you can get the information in HH exactly like it
was written, that would be GREAT!!!! sure would save at lot of work. We
could all still proof your copy for any differences.
Hope this helped explain more. We were all just trying to work as a
team to help out Bonnie and in the process help the cousins get their
"own" copy of his complete book for personal reference.
Let us know if you can make a gedcom of the original works. AND THANKS
for offering to make this available to all the cousins.
