Hi Harriette,
You are right, I believe we do have two projects here. The main one was
to reproduce the HH Book exactly as printed for the present/future
HOISINGTON researchers so that they can have this research tool to
verify, compare, find out "How we Know" _where_ some of this information
on our families came from. I don't know about the other cousins, but I
for one like to research and check out the information for my self, not
go on blind faith that what is presented is proof/fact. We need to
"Know, how we know" where and how our research was obtained. By
typing this HH book, as a TEAM effort, and putting it on a CD we can
save a lot of work for Bonnie who is the ONE who has been sharing the
book with us cousins AT NO COST to us, but A LOT of time, paper,
postage, ink etc. on Bonnie's part. At the same time the information
could be available to researchers wanting a clearer, cleaner copy, that
would be easier to read than some of the faded text we strain our eyes
to read from the original HH book.
The second project was to also update and show documentation of
additions or corrections to the original HH book.
