Hi, Lou.

All I have on her birth family is that she was the daughter of Josiah
Stanborough. My notes on Mary are these:

[John Horsington} married second between 1688 and 1693 Mary (Stanborough)
Edwards, who died 13 October 1728 (ibid., 5:570), daughter of Josiah
Stanborough and widow of John2 (William1) Edwards of East Hampton. (Page
40)
Mary (Stansborough) Edwards at the time of her marriage to John Horsington
had seven Edwards children. (Page 40)
"Widow Hossington" married third at East Hampton, 8 November 1705 Joseph
Osborn. (Page 40)
The "wife of John Horsington" appears in the twenty-first position on a
list of twenty-two female church members at East Hampton, N.Y. 13 March
1698/9. (Page 41)
On 16 March 1702/3 John Edwards, cordwinder, of East Hampton, "with the
consent of Mary hossinton, his mother," sold to Samuel Hedges of the same
town a land parcel "that my father Hossington at present liveth upon" in
East Hampton (ibid., 3:59-60). (Page 41)
