Hi, Bob.

Harry was definitely right in naming his book "The American Family
Hoisington". As far as I can tell, there were Hoisington descendants who
fought in every major conflict since colonial days and some have had
illustrious careers.

Every once in a while I run across another Hoisington in the military.
Perhaps once I get done with the MI/WI branch <sorry folks, I'm running
behind. Got a job and now I'm looking for a house of my own>, I should
start a "Hoisingtons in the Military" page, listing by the conflict, all
the Hoisingtons and their descendants that have documented military service
in each one. That should take me until at least December <g>.
