Dear Harriette

My father, Laurence Adgate Hoisington, born in Kalkaska County, MI
Sept. 3, 1903 was a WWII vet. His discharge papers show him honorably
discharged on 22nd March 1943 at Ft. Jackson, SC from the 328th
infantry. He was drafted at age 38. I was born (Feb. '43) before he
could be shipped out so he was discharged because of that and age.
Actually, if they had known Mom was pregnant, they wouldn't have taken
him, but I gather he wanted to go. Karen D in MI
