Bill,
First, thank you for your website and all the support you provide to the
other researchers, such as myself . I have a distant connection to the
HOLDER line. My GGrandad married Pantheon Annette HOLDER in Warren
Co.,TN Feb 1870. P.Annette HOLDER was born ca 1848-49 Warren Co.,TN. In
the 1850 Census , Johnathan HOLDER, W-956-143,12th District,Warren
Co.TN, shows Johnathan 26,Sinthy(Cynthia)25,Organ(Oregon)2,Pantheon 1
and Samuel McSPADDIN, 72. Samuel McSpaddin is supposed to have been a
Reverend, and was born in Washington Co.,VA. His daughter,Cynthia
McSpaddin married Johnathan Holder,where and when, unknown.

The 1860 Census,#400,pg #53, for the 12th District Warren Co.,TN shows
Johnathan HOLDER 37, no wife recorded,Oregon 12,Pantheon 10,Samuel H.
9,Patrick 8, and William R. 6.(Cynthia, and her father, Samuel
McSpaddin, may have died.)

The 1870 Census shows P.Annette and Thomas C Lewis living with Thomas
C's mother, Delilah Moore Lewis. Thomas C. and Annette had 4 children,
Oregon b. 1871,Samuel H. b.1872,Amanda b.1876 and Cynthia b.1877.
Annette died 9 Apr.1878. Thomas C. remarried in March 1879 and
eventually moved the family to Texas.

Is there any connection between the White Co. HOLDERS and the Warren
Co., HOLDERS? Any information on the Warren Co.,TN HOLDERS?

While reading a biography of Daniel Boone,there was mention of a John
HOLDER who fought at Boonesborough,KY when they were trying to
establish a foothold in KY. Any connections to the White/Warren Co.,
TN HOLDERS?
