Hey all,
Just trying to link up my Holder research with all of y'alls. If anyone
seeing anything familiar with their research let me know. This is what I have:

James Holder and wife Sally White in 1820 lived in Bedford co, Tennessee
with their 4 sons and 2 daughters. By 1830, the family had moved to Union co,
IL. and they had 7 sons and only 1 daughter. In 1840, they had moved ten
miles to Jackson co. On the 1850 census, the father James was no longer
listed, but two of his sons and their families were. On the 1860 census one
of the sons, David, had moved to Mayfield, Kentucky. The other son, Joseph,
had moved about 15 miles southwest to the Grassy township of Williamson co.,
IL.
One of Joseph's sons, named William, died in Jackson co. on March 2,
1938, and the local newspaper carried an obituary. Besides the wife and
children, other survivors were a sister, Margaret, and a brother, Alfred,
both of Raymondville, Missouri. The 1900 Texas co. census shows Alfred and
family on page #12 of the Jackson township:

Audie - born June 26, 1908 (went by Bill)
Harvey (my Grandfather) married Gladys Poe - born March 12, 1901 died July
1946

James Wayne - born Dec. 22, 1921 died Feb. 5 1985 (my Dad)
Harvey Wade - born 1923 (went by Wade)
Dowell Byran - died in WWII in the Navy
Shirley - can't find it right now? sorry
Robert Leroy - (goes by Lee) use to go by Leroy
James (my Dad) married Lois Estelene Burch - born April 7, 1928 (his 2nd wife)
their children:
Linda Sue - born June 6, 1940 (child from James 1st marriage).
Terry Wayne - born Oct. 21, 1942 (child from James 1st marriage).
James Byran - born Feb. 19, 1947
Richard Eugene - born Oct. 19, 1948
Steven Leroy - born Feb. 28, 1957
Kimberly Ren'ee - born Oct. 8, 1967 (that's me)

So, there ya have it. I hope someone see a familiar name and can help me
link my Holders to the rest of y'all.
