Looking for info on Civil War veteran Lewis V. Holter who served with Company D of the 87th Pennsylvania Infantry, a regiment mustered in York in 1861. Holter actually joined the regiment on two different occasions, the second time after having been discharged for health reasons. His second discharge was also for reasons of health. Holter had emotional problems on which I have many details. Many could be embarrassing, so if you're a descendant, you might want to read them off line.
