Early this week I met a new, very nice Holder cousin in the library of
the very small town of Erin, Houston County, Tennessee. She is very
interested in finding out more about her Holder ancestors but is not on
line and has very limited local resources. Her oldest known Holder
ancestor is William Henderson Holder (5 Oct 1822 - 8 July 1864) who
married Nancy Barnet Hauser (20 Aug 1824 - 22 Jun 1860). Nancy is the
daughter of Daniel Hauser and Susannah Holder who were married 19 May
1816 at her father’s, Joseph Holder at Pafftown. Foolishly, I did not
get better locales but she thinks these might be from Moravian Holders
who came south. If you have any information which might help her,

Having met her, I know she will be very appreciative of any information
she gets.
